What is management?

Manage means take charge of the administration of a project, business or initiative that is, taking care of the maintenance and satisfaction of its needs and objectives, guaranteeing the continuity of its operation and overcoming challenging or problematic situations that may arise. The verb “manage” and the noun “management” come from the Latin verb gerere (“do”, “carry out”) and are concepts that are very popular within the business and administrative world. In all these cases, management is part of the daily and regular maintenance processes, and is essential to guarantee the continuity and effectiveness of the work.

So, Good management will be one that guarantees the different levels of the organization the necessary resources to continue operating and achieve your pre-established goals. On the contrary, poor management will be one that introduces chaos into the functioning of the organization, either through the lack or abuse of resources.
