What is Solecism:

solecism is a syntactic error that is evident in the structure of the sentence with respect to agreement, composition and regime that it must be respected according to the norms assigned by the grammar of a language.

Therefore, the solecism is the wrong construction of a sentence by making a syntactic error such as the incorrect use of a preposition or a pronoun, the wrong conjugation of a verb, among others.

Likewise, solecism is considered a language vice because it exposes the most widespread grammatical errors among people, therefore, it is even related to the vulgar use of language.
