What are the countries and capitals of America?
America is the second largest continent on the planet, after Asia. It extends from northern Greenland to the southern tip of Argentina and Chile. It has a total area of 42.5 million square kilometers, which represents 28.3% of the planet's total land surface.
It is divided into two large triangular continental masses.joined by a narrow and elongated portion of land. The northern sector is called North America, the southern sector is called South America and the small portion that unites them is Central America.
America is made up of 35 independent countries: three are located in North America, twenty in Central America and twelve in South America.

It is the most populated city in the United States. It has a population of 8,200,000 inhabitants, but its metropolitan area exceeds 19,000,000.
Buenos Aires

It is the capital city of Argentina. It has a population of 3,121,000 inhabitants, but its metropolitan area reaches 16,500,000.
Rio de Janeiro

It is the second most populated city in Brazil. It has a population of 6,100,000 inhabitants, but its metropolitan area exceeds 12,000,000.
